Native by Design, founded by Jennifer L. Johnson in 2015, designs, installs, and establishes CA native and climate appropriate gardens. Jennifer's deep knowledge of native plants and local micro-climates along with her degree in cultural anthropology and time spent traveling informs her narrative approach to garden design and outdoor living. She excels at working 1 acre+ properties. Her clients value her attention to detail, appreciation for local history, and incorporating a sense of place into her projects. Native by Design is dedicated to environmental stewardship and approaches each site with sensitivity and care.

Jennifer is a G3 certified Watershed Wise Professional, a Watersense Partner and an EPA certified Irrigation Auditor.
